Η Σαμπίνε Κεμ, η εκπρόσωπος του πρωταθλητή της Φόρμουλα 1 Μ. Σουμάχερ, δήλωσε σήμερα ότι υπάρχουν κάποιες μικρές ενθαρρυντικές ενδείξεις σχετικά με την κατάσταση της υγείας του, αλλά ότι ο Γερμανός πιλότος χρειάζεται να δώσει μεγάλη μάχη για την ανάρρωσή του ύστερα από την εγκεφαλική βλάβη που υπέστη σε ατύχημα κάνοντας σκι. «Είμαστε και παραμένουμε αισιόδοξοι ότι ο Μίχαελ θα τα καταφέρει και θα ξυπνήσει» δήλωσε η μάνατζέρ του και εκπρόσωπος της οικογένειας Σουμάχερ. «Κάποιες φορές υπάρχουν μικρές, ενθαρρυντικές ενδείξεις, αλλά γνωρίζουμε επίσης ότι αυτή τη στιγμή πρέπει να έχουμε μεγάλη υπομονή», προσθέτει η ίδια σε γραπτή της ανακοίνωση.

Οι γιατροί στη μονάδα εντατικής θεραπείας του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου της Γκρενόμπλ, όπου νοσηλεύεται ο Σουμάχερ από τις 29 Δεκεμβρίου, έχουν ξεκινήσει τη διαδικασία αφύπνισής του από το τεχνητό κώμα στο οποίο τον υπέβαλαν όταν μεταφέρθηκε εκεί.
