Εξάλλου, αναφερόμενη στο ελληνικό αίτημα των πολεμικών αποζημιώσεων, η Γερμανίδα Καγκελάριος δήλωσε ότι «η δική μας ερμηνεία του νόμου είναι διαφορετική».


Κατά τη διάρκεια συνέντευξης Τύπου διευκρίνισε ακόμη ότι «αυτό δεν αλλάζει, παρά τις πρόσφατες αξιώσεις».
