Στον 'Αρειο Πάγο αναμένεται να συζητηθεί το μεσημέρι η αίτηση του υπουργείου Οικονομικών, με την οποία ζητεί να ανασταλεί προσωρινά η υπ΄ αριθμ. 1584/2014 απόφαση του Μονομελούς Πρωτοδικείου Αθηνών για την επανατοποθέτηση των καθαριστριών που απασχολούνται στο υπουργείο Οικονομικών.
Όπως είναι γνωστό, το Πρωτοδικείο έχει κάνει δεκτή την αίτηση των καθαριστριών και αναγνώρισε ότι η κατάσταση της διαθεσιμότητας που τέθηκαν, λόγω κατάργησης των θέσεων τους, συνιστά άκυρη καταγγελία των εργασιακών τους συμβάσεων.
Ακόμη, το Πρωτοδικείο έκρινε αντισυνταγματική και αντίθετη στην Ευρωπαϊκή Σύμβαση Δικαιωμάτων του Ανθρώπου (ΕΣΔΑ) την κατάσταση σε θέση διαθεσιμότητας των καθαριστηρίων.
Επίσης, το Πρωτοδικείο υποχρέωσε το Δημόσιο να αποδέχεται τις υπηρεσίες των καθαριστριών με τα ίδια καθήκοντα και τους όρους που εργάζονταν πριν τεθούν σε κατάσταση διαθεσιμότητας.
