Την Πέμπτη 14 Ιανουαρίου πραγματοποιήθηκαν στο χώρο του «Παλέρμο» της πόλης μας οι μαθητικοί αγώνες στίβου των σχολείων. Σε αυτούς τους αγώνες το σχολείο μας διακρίθηκε στον αγώνα 4.000 μ., κερδίζοντας το αργυρό μετάλλιο! Ο μαθητής Μιφτάρι Ενγκλεσίν έκανε για ακόμα μια φορά υπερήφανο το σχολείο μας και απέδειξε ότι η προσπάθεια και η επιμονή ανταμείβονται. Συμμετείχαν επίσης στους αγώνες οι μαθητές μας, Καραμαγκιόλας Απόστολος στο ίδιο αγώνισμα κατακτώντας την 7η θέση και ο μαθητής Παππάς Σεραφείμ στο αγώνισμα των 3.000μ κατακτώντας την 5η θέση. 

Σημαντικό ρόλο στην επιτυχία αυτή έπαιξαν και οι καθηγητές Φυσικής Αγωγής του σχολείου μας, Στέφανος Μπελάγιας και Γιώργος Γκινής, που με τις πολύτιμες συμβουλές τους καθοδήγησαν όλους τους μαθητές του σχολείου που συμμετείχαν στους αγώνες. Πολλά συγχαρητήρια σε όλους!
