Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε το πρωί του Σαββάτου 2/4  η δράση εθελοντικής δενδροφύτευσης στην Τοπική Κοινότητα Παλαιοκκλησίου. Κάτοικοι της Κοινότητας, όλων των ηλικιών συμμετείχαν με ενθουσιασμό στη δράση φυτεύοντας δένδρα σε κοινοτική έκταση στην είσοδο του χωριού, δίπλα στο γήπεδο συμβάλλοντας στο να δημιουργηθεί ένας νέος χώρος πρασίνου και αναψυχής.

    Στη δράση μεταξύ άλλων συμμετείχαν ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας κ. Φωτ. Αλεξάκος, ο Αντιδήμαρχος Πρασίνου κ. Δημ. Αραμπατζής, ο Πρόεδρος της Τ.Κ. Παλαιοκκλησίου κ. Χρ. Μπάγκος, ενώ έντονη ήταν η παρουσία του Συλλόγου Γυναικών Παλαιοκκλησίου. 

    Ο Δήμος Καρδίτσας και η Τοπική Κοινότητα ευχαριστούν τους εθελοντές που συμμετείχαν στη δράση.
