Στα ύψη αναμένεται να παραμείνει ο υδράργυρος και τις επόμενες ημέρες, ενώ αύριο, σύμφωνα με την ΕΜΥ η θερμοκρασία θα φτάσει στα δυτικά ηπειρωτικά τους 40 και κατά τόπους τους 41 βαθμούς Κελσίου.
Σήμερα η Καρδίτσα θύμιζε «έρημη» πόλη. Οι υψηλές θερμοκρασίες που επικρατούσαν από το πρωί, οδήγησαν τους συμπολίτες στα παράλια της Λάρισας και της Πιερίας, προκειμένου να δροσιστούν και να χαρούν το κολύμπι.
Αλλά και όσοι δεν τα κατάφεραν, προτίμησαν να μείνουν σπίτια τους, με τα κλιματιστικά και τους ανεμιστήρες να δουλεύουν στο φουλ.
