Παρεμβάσεις βελτίωσης της οδικής ασφάλειας πραγματοποιεί από την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα η Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας στο οδικό δίκτυο της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Λάρισας. Οι παρεμβάσεις αφορούν την κοπή χόρτων και τον καθαρισμό ερεισμάτων και τάφρων, με σκοπό την καλύτερη ορατότητα των οδηγών στο εθνικό και επαρχιακό δίκτυο. Το έργο προϋπολογισμού 170.000 ευρώ βρίσκεται σε πλήρη εξέλιξη και πραγματοποιείται σε θέσεις όπου οι υπηρεσίες της Περιφέρειας Θεσσαλίας έχουν καταγράψει και επισημάνει.

Η ανάγκη για την υλοποίηση του έργου προέκυψε μετά τις έντονες βροχοπτώσεις των τελευταίων εβδομάδων οι οποίες επέτειναν το πρόβλημα τις βλάστησης εκατέρωθεν του οδικού δικτύου, το οποίο είχε αντιμετωπιστεί με παλαιότερη εργολαβία, πριν τις βροχοπτώσεις. Σε κάθε περίπτωση οι παρεμβάσεις αυτές αφορούν χαμηλή βλάστηση και γίνονται με σεβασμό προς το φυσικό τοπίο και το περιβάλλον.
