Μέσα σε ιδιαίτερα ευχάριστο κλίμα και με τις ευχές όλων για μια καλή νέα χρονιά γεμάτη από πνευματικές απολαύσεις που μόνο η αγάπη για τα βιβλία προσφέρει, ξεκίνησε τη δράση της η Λέσχη Ανάγνωσης και Φιλαναγνωσίας του Μορφωτικού Συλλόγου Σοφάδων.

Η Λέσχη που αποτελεί  καταστατική δράση του Συλλόγου ξεκίνησε πέρυσι την πορεία της  με τη συμμετοχή ανθρώπων που αγαπούν το διάβασμα και με συντονίστρια τη βιβλιοθηκονόμο Αλεξία Θεογιάννη - Μητσιάκη την οποία ο Σύλλογος ευχαριστεί για την προσφορά της. Για την τρέχουσα χρονιά η Λέσχη έχει προγραμματίσει , πέραν των τακτικών μηνιαίων συναντήσεών της, συνεργασία με άλλες αντίστοιχες Λέσχες της Θεσσαλίας, παρουσιάσεις βιβλίων, διαλέξεις, αλλά και σεμινάρια Δημιουργικής Γραφής από ειδικούς. Στους άμεσους στόχους της είναι και η προσπάθεια δημιουργίας Λέσχης Ανάγνωσης για εφήβους. Συντονιστές της είναι η Χριστίνα Λιούτα, φιλόλογος και ο Βαγγέλης Ντελής, φιλόλογος - συγγραφέας. Η πρώτη συνάντηση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 12 Νοεμβρίου με τον γνωστό δημοσιογράφο και συγγραφέα Μηνά Βιντιάδη.
