Φθορές στις υποδομές του υπαίθριου θεάτρου Μητρόπολης διαπίστωσαν υπάλληλοι του ΔΟΠΑΚ που μετέβησαν στο χώρο, προκειμένου να γίνουν οι αναγκαίες εργασίες- συντηρήσεις ενόψει της έναρξης της καλοκαιρινής περιόδου, όπου πολλά θεατρικά σχήματα έχουν ήδη εκδηλώσει το ενδιαφέρον τους να χρησιμοποιήσουν το χώρο για παραστάσεις τους.


            Ειδικότερα οι ζημιές εστιάζονται κυρίως στον προκατασκευασμένο οικίσκο που χρησιμοποιούν οι ηθοποιοί ως καμαρίνια, από το οποίο άγνωστοι αφαίρεσαν δύο παράθυρα, καθώς και στις ηλεκτρολογικές εγκαταστάσεις του θεάτρου.
            Ο ΔΟΠΑΚ προχωρά ήδη στην αποκατάσταση των ζημιών.
