Εξαιρετική επιτυχία σημείωσε το ανοιχτό τουρνουά αγωνιστικού τάβλι στον Μεσενικόλα που πραγματοποιήθηκε την Κυριακή 18 Αυγούστου στην πλατεία του χωριού. Από τους 17 αγωνιζόμενους παίχτες, νικητής αναδείχτηκε ο Βαγγέλης Γιαννής που επικράτησε στο τελικό του Βαγγέλη Λωρίδα με 7-4.
Ο Σ.Α.Τ.Ο.Κ. οφείλει να ευχαριστήσει την Ένωση Μεσενικολιτών Αθήνας με τον πρόεδρό του Χρυσόστομο Καρβούνη καθώς και τον συνδιοργανωτή Σεραφείμ Μηλιώνη για το έπαθλο του νικητή ( δερμάτινο τάβλι) και τα δωρεάν ροφήματα της εκδήλωσης. Επίσης ευχαριστούμε το καφενείο του Γιώργου Αντωνούλα για την διάθεση των τραπεζοκαθισμάτων.
