Συνάντηση με τη Διοίκηση του Παραρτήματος Βορείου Ελλάδας της Αθλητικής Ένωσης Αστυνομικών, την Τοπική Διοίκηση της Διεθνούς Ένωσης Αστυνομικών (I.P.A.) και τον Πρόεδρο της Οργανωτικής Επιτροπής του 12ου Πρωταθλήματος  Καλαθοσφαίρισης και του 5ου Πρωταθλήματος Πετοφαίρισης των Αστυνομικών Δ/νσεων της χώρας κ. Κ. Τσέλιο είχε ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας κ. Φωτ. Αλεξάκος.
Στη συνάντηση συζητήθηκαν οργανωτικά θέματα των δύο πρωταθλημάτων που θα διοργανωθούν σε όλα τα κλειστά γυμναστήρια του νομού το διάστημα από 18-22 Μαΐου.
Ο Δήμαρχος ευχαρίστησε τους εκπροσώπους των συνδικαλιστικών φορέων των αστυνομικών για την επιλογή της περιοχής μας για την φιλοξενία των δύο διοργανώσεων που εκτός των άλλων θα προσελκύσουν πολλούς επισκέπτες στην πόλη μας (μέλη των αποστολών και  συνοδοί) και τόνισε οτι ο Δήμος Καρδίτσας θα στηρίξει με κάθε πρόσφορο τρόπο τους αγώνες
