Με την καθιερωμένη πρωτοχρονιάτικη εκδήλωση και κοπή πίτας άνοιξε το 2017 στην περιφερειακή διεύθυνση Καρδίτσας.
Στο περιφερειακό κατάστημα Καρδίτσας οι αρχές τις πολης καλωσόρισαν το νέο έτος ενώ παράστησαν

Ο Σεβασμιότατος μητροπολίτης κκ Τιμόθεος ο οποίος τέλεσε και τον καθιερωμένο Αγιασμό του νέου έτους,η βουλευτής ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Χρυσούλα Κατσαβριά,ο αντιπεριφερειάρχης Βασίλης Τσιάκος ,ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας Φώτης Αλεξάκος,ο πρόεδρος του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου Γιαννέλος ,ο θεματικός αντιπεριφερειάρχης Κωστής Νούσιος. Αντιδήμαρχοι, περιφερειακοί σύμβουλοι ,διοικητές Σωμάτων ασφαλείας, και στρατιωτικές αρχές, καθώς και το προσωπικό της περιφερειακής διεύθυνσης Καρδίτσας.
Το πρωί στον Μητροπολιτικό Ναό τελεσθει η καθιερωμένη δοξολογία παρουσία των αρχών και πλήθος κόσμου
