Οι λογαριασμοί της ΔΕΗ επιβαρύνονται με υπέρογκα «βάρη» που δεν συνδέονται με το πραγματικό κόστος ρεύματος.

Για κάθε 1.000 κιλοβατώρες που καταναλώνει ένα νοικοκυριό πλήρωνε μέχρι σήμερα από 6,99 ευρώ μέχρι 44,8 ευρώ το τετράμηνο, ανάλογα με την κλίμακα της συνολικής κατανάλωσής του, για να καλύψει η ΔΕΗ τις αποκαλούμενες Υπηρεσίες Κοινής Ωφέλειας (ΥΚΩ).

Το κόστος αυτό πολύ σύντομα θα αυξηθεί κατά περίπου 25%, για να καλυφθούν οι αυξημένες δαπάνες για ΥΚΩ.

Επιπλέον, οι καταναλωτές θα πληρώσουν για πρώτη φορά και υπηρεσία «τελευταίου καταφυγίου» στη ΔΕΗ ύψους 33,2 εκατ. ευρώ για την παροχή υπηρεσιών στους πελάτες των Energa και Hellas Power για το διάστημα που ήταν υποχρεωμένη από το νόμο να τους παρέχει ρεύμα μέχρι να επιλέξουν το νέο προμηθευτή τους.
