Τα παραπάνω τόνισε στην τελετή Αγιασμού ο σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Θεσσαλιώτιδος και Φαναριοφερσάλων κκ Τιμόθεος.Ο μητροπολίτης ευχαρίστησε τις εθελόντριες και τους εθελοντές του Σπιτιού της Αγάπης αλλά και του κοινωνικού παντοπωλείου που λειτούργει υπό την σκεπή της Μητρόπολης και ζήτησε από τους εθελοντές να μην υπάρξει όσο το δυνατών και όσο οι δυνάμεις επιτρέπουν κανείς χωρίς ένα πιάτο ζεστό φαγητό και φροντίδα.

Ο Μητροπολίτης δήλωσε ότι καταβάλατε προσπάθεια ώστε το Σπίτι της Αγάπης να μην σταματήσει κατά τους θερινούς μήνες να προσφέρει το κοινωνικό του έργο, και είναι ήδη σε σχεδιασμό με όλους ιερείς και εθελοντές ώστε να τεθεί σύντομα υπό λειτουργία αυτή η βούληση.

Στον αγιασμό παρέστησαν η αντιδήμαρχος Καρδίτσας Αντωνίου Ελένη και οι εθελόντριες και οι εθελοντές του Σπιτιού της Αγάπης.
