Τις τελευταίες ημέρες παρατηρείται ότι στους μπλε κάδους της ανακύκλωσης ρίχνονται συσκευασίες φυτοφαρμάκων και ζιζανιοκτόνων.
Δεδομένου ότι τα υλικά αυτά μεταφέρονται στο Κέντρο Διαλογής Ανακυκλώσιμων Υλικών (ΚΔΑΥ), όπου όπως είναι γνωστό, γίνεται χειροδιαλογή, γίνεται κατανοητό το πρόβλημα που δημιουργείται  στις συνθήκες εργασίας αλλά και στην υγεία των εργαζομένων.
 
Υπενθυμίζεται ότι οι συσκευασίες των υλικών αυτών, πρέπει να ξεπλένονται τουλάχιστον τρεις (3) φορές και το ξέπλυμα να ρίχνεται στη δεξαμενή της ψεκαστικής συσκευής.
 
Επειδή μέχρι σήμερα στη περιοχή μας δεν έχει λειτουργήσει οργανωμένο σύστημα διαχείρισης των συσκευασιών αυτών (παρά τις προσπάθειες που έχουμε κάνει σε συνεργασία με καταστήματα πώλησης των σκευασμάτων αυτών), το μόνο που μπορεί να γίνει (προκαλώντας το μικρότερο κακό) είναι οι συσκευασίες αυτές, αφού ξεπλυθούν 3 φορές, να απορρίπτονται στους κάδους των απορριμμάτων
