Εκτυπώσιμη μορφήΜια νέα αρχή ξεκινάει από φέτος το γυναικείο τμήμα του ΣΠΑΚ με την έναρξη της προετοιμασία εν όψη της σαιζόν 2013-2014. Ο κορμός της ομάδα αποτελείται παλιότερες αθλήτριες που έχουν την εμπειρία της κατηγορίας από τις προηγούμενες χρονιές αλλά και από νεαρές ταλαντούχες αθλήτριες που προέρχονται από τα τμήματα υποδομών του ΣΠΑΚ .
Η προπονήτρια Μαρία Σκανίκα δήλωσε ότι «Στόχος είναι να αναδείξουμε τα ταλέντα της περιοχής», «το θετικό είναι ότι υπάρχει μια ομάδα όπως ο ΣΠΑΚ με χρόνια παρουσίας στην Α2 κατηγορία και υπάρχει η εμπειρία. Εμείς κάνουμε μια καινούργια αρχή και θα προσπαθήσουμε για το καλύτερο». Η γυναικεία ομάδα θα αγωνίζεται στο Περιφερειακό Πρωτάθλημα που αναμένεται να ξεκινήσει το Νοεμβρίου. Μέχρι τότε υπάρχει χρόνος έτσι ώστε να γίνει η κατάλληλη προετοιμασία για να είναι η ομάδα έτοιμη για τις αγωνιστικές της υποχρεώσεις. Εκτός από την γυναικεία ομάδα ξεκίνησαν ταυτόχρονα οι κορασίδες και οι παγκορασίδες όπου φέτος θα κατεβάσουν 2 ομάδες.
