Τα γραφεία της Δ/νσης Πρασίνου του Δήμου Λαρισαίων επισκέφθηκαν την Πέμπτη 7/2 ο Αντιδήμαρχος Πρασίνου  κ. Θ. Κατσιαβάρας, ο Εντεταλμένος Σύμβουλος για θέματα Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης κ. Αθ. Μαρκινός και η Προϊσταμένη του Τμήματος Συντήρησης Χώρων Πρασίνου κ. Λ. Σπυροπούλου, όπου  συναντήθηκαν με τον Αντιδήμαρχο  Γεωτεχνικών και Πρασίνου του Δήμου Λαρισαίων κ. Βασ. Μπατζηλιώτη και υπηρεσιακούς παράγοντες της Δ/νσης Πρασίνου.  
            Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο της συνεργασίας και της ανταλλαγής τεχνογνωσίας που έχουν αναπτύξει οι δύο δήμοι, συζητήθηκαν θέματα που αφορούν τον τομέα του πρασίνου, ενώ έγινε ενημέρωση και για τη λειτουργία το φυτωρίου του Δήμου Λαρισαίων.  
            Η αντιπροσωπεία του Δήμου Καρδίτσας επισκέφθηκε επίσης και  το Δασικό Φυτώριο Λάρισας, το οποίο κατασκευάστηκε και λειτουργεί από το 1948 με δωρεά της Αβερώφειου Γεωργικής Σχολής και είναι το μεγαλύτερο δασικό φυτώριο της Θεσσαλίας εκτεινόμενο σε έκταση 100 στρεμμάτων.
