Σε σφοδρή κόντρα μεταξύ κυβέρνησης και αντιπολίτευσης, που κατέληξε στην αποχώρηση του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, του ΚΚΕ και των Ανεξάρτητων Ελλήνων από την αίθουσα της Ολομέλειας, εξελίχθηκε η αναφορά στη βουλευτική τροπολογία που επανακατέθηκε, για την κατάργηση της Πράξης Νομοθετικού Περιεχομένου που αφορά την ΕΡΤ.

Η δήλωση του αναπληρωτή υπουργού ΠΕΚΑ, Στ. Καλαφάτη, ότι η κυβέρνηση δεν μπορεί να κάνει δεκτή την τροπολογία, επικαλούμενος το άρθρο 73 παρ. 3 του Συντάγματος, σύμφωνα με το οποίο εάν υπάρχει δημοσιονομική επιβάρυνση δεν τίθενται καν σε συζήτηση τροπολογίες, πυροδότησε κύμα αντιδράσεων εκ μέρους των εκπροσώπων των τριών κομμάτων, που αφού κατήγγειλαν την κυβέρνηση για υπεκφυγές έφυγαν από την αίθουσα.
