Έγινε την περασμένη Τετάρτη 19 Ιούνη η εκλογοαπολογιστική συνέλευση του παραρτήματος Καρδίτσας της ΠΕΑΕΑ – ΔΣΕ . Μεταξύ των άλλων που συζητήθηκαν στη συνέλευση τονίστηκε ιδιαίτερα η ανάγκη να εγγραφούν ως μέλη στο παράρτημα Καρδίτσας απόγονοι των αγωνιστών εκείνης της εποχής και φίλοι του έπους της Εθνικής Αντίστασης και του Δημοκρατικού Στρατού Ελλάδας .
Επίσης  εκλέχτηκε από τη συνέλευση νέα Διοικούσα Επιτροπή και αντιπρόσωποι για το 13ο Συνέδριο της ΠΕΑΕΑ  - ΔΣΕ που θα γίνει το φθινόπωρο στη Αθήνα .
Τα νέα  μέλη της Διοικούσας Επιτροπής εξέλεξαν  στη θέση του προέδρου του παραρτήματος τον αγωνιστή της Εθνικής Αντίστασης , τον αντάρτη του ΔΣΕ , τον συγγραφέα και ποιητή Βασίλη Φυτσιλή . Οι υπόλοιποι που εκλέχτηκαν στη ΔΕ με την ιδιότητα του απόγονου ή φίλου , είναι οι παρακάτω.

Στο 13ο Συνέδριο της ΠΕΑΕΑ – ΔΣΕ το παράρτημα της Καρδίτσας θα εκπροσωπήσουν  ο πρόεδρος και ο αντιπρόεδρος.
