Μέσα από έναν ιδιαίτερα γόνιμο διάλογο, μεταξύ κατοίκων της συνοικίας Αγίου Νικολάου και κλιμακίου της Ανεξάρτητης Δημοτικής Κίνησης Καρδίτσας, αναδείχθηκαν προβλήματα της συνοικίας, προβληματισμοί για την εικόνα της πόλης, του Δήμου και του νομού, με την μεγάλη υστέρηση στα έργα ανάπτυξης.
        Οι κάτοικοι, διαμαρτύρονται για την πλημμελή καθαριότητα, την ύπαρξη χωματερής στο Μουσικό γυμνάσιο, τον μη καθαρισμό των φρεατίων, τις οσμές που αναδύονται από εργαστήριο τροφίμων.
        Επίσης αναφέρθηκε η πλήρης απουσία από την συνοικία της Δημοτικής Αρχής και Αιρετών, διοργάνωσης εκδηλώσεων και παρέμβασης στους χώρους πρασίνου.
        Ο Δημοτικός Σύμβουλος κ. Βασίλης Τσαντήλας, παρουσίασε τις προτεραιότητες της  Ανεξάρτητης Δημοτικής Κίνησης, για νοικοκύρεμα στα οικονομικά του Δήμου Καρδίτσας, την αναδιάρθρωση των Υπηρεσιών και την συγκρότηση Συνοικιακών Συμβουλίων, για να ακούγεται η φωνή των κατοίκων κάθε συνοικίας.
