Σχετικά με τα στοιχεία που διαβίβασε στη Βουλή ο Υπουργός Εσωτερικών για τη χρηματοδότηση των κομμάτων για ερευνητικούς σκοπούς, η Δημοκρατική Αριστερά επισημαίνει ότι από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2013 αποφάσισε την επιστροφή των 145.000€ από την τακτική χρηματοδότηση του έτους 2013 και μάλιστα γνωστοποίησε, με επιστολή της προς τον Υπουργό Εσωτερικών κ. Γιάννη Μιχελάκη, την επιστροφή του συγκεκριμένου ποσού. Στη συνέχεια κατέθεσε, σε λογαριασμό που της υποδείχθηκε από το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών, το αντίστοιχο ποσό.
