Επίσκεψη στη Καρδίτσα θα πραγματοποιήσει την Πέμπτη, 8 Μαΐου 2014 η υποψήφια Ευρωβουλευτής, αναπληρώτρια Γραμματέας της Γραμματείας Κοινωνικής Συνοχής και Αλληλεγγύης της ΝΔ , Χριστίνα Χαλιλοπούλου.
 
Η κα Χαλιλοπούλου θα συναντηθεί με συλλόγους και φορείς για να συζητήσουν θέματα που απασχολούν την τοπική κοινωνία της Καρδίτσας, όπως η αντιμετώπιση της ανεργίας και η προστασία των ευάλωτων ομάδων πληθυσμού.
 
Η Χριστίνα Χαλιλοπούλου σπούδασε Νομική, Ευρωπαϊκές Σπουδές Πολιτικής ηθικής και Φιλοσοφίας και πληροφορική. Έχει διατελέσει σύμβουλος της Commission σε  ζητήματα φυλετικών διακρίσεων, μέλος της Ομάδας Εμπειρογνωμόνων στο Ευρωπαϊκό Φόρουμ FERYP, Σύμβουλος της Γενικής Γραμματέως Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης του Υπουργείου Υγείας και Θεματική Υπεύθυνη προγραμμάτων της Γενικής Γραμματείας Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων του Υπουργείου Παιδείας.
