Δεκατέσσερις ασφαλιστικές διατάξεις δίνουν τη δυνατότητα ταχύτερης εξόδου στη σύνταξη σε τουλάχιστον 250.000 γυναίκες με ανήλικα τέκνα. Μία σειρά ευνοϊκών ρυθμίσεων καθιστά εφικτή τη συνταξιοδότηση ακόμα και 17 έτη νωρίτερα για τις μητέρες που πρόλαβαν να «κλειδώσουν» τα απαιτούμενα χρόνια ασφάλισης.

Οι θετικές αυτές διατάξεις διαφοροποιούνται ανά Ταμείο, ενώ διακυμάνσεις υπάρχουν ανάλογα με το αν η ασφάλιση ξεκίνησε πριν ή μετά το 1983. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρεται πως στο Δημόσιο οι μητέρες που ξεκίνησαν να δουλεύουν μέχρι το τέλος του 1982 μπορούν να αποχωρήσουν χωρίς όριο ηλικίας, εφόσον συμπληρώσουν τα απαιτούμενα έτη ασφάλισης.

Προσοχή, καθώς οι ευνοϊκές διατάξεις ισχύουν για τις μητέρες που πρόλαβαν να θεμελιώσουν δικαίωμα μέχρι το τέλος του 2012. Για τη θεμελίωση μετά το 2013 δεν υπάρχουν ειδικές ρυθμίσεις για τις μητέρες, με αποτέλεσμα η έξοδος να γίνεται στα 67 με πλήρη σύνταξη (όπου προβλέπεται μειωμένη καταβάλλεται στα 62).
