Επί ευκαιρίας της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας Δράσης της Κοινωνικής Εργασίας λειτούργησε χθες, στις 17 Μαρτίου στην κεντρική πλατεία της πόλης, περίπτερο από τον Τοπικό Σύνδεσμο Κοινωνικών Λειτουργών, στο οποίο συμμετείχε και η Κοινωνική Υπηρεσία του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Καρδίτσας. Οι Κοινωνικοί Λειτουργοί του Νοσοκομείου μας μοίρασαν ενημερωτικό υλικό για την ημέρα, ενημέρωσαν για τις δομές που υπάρχουν στην πόλη μας και δήλωσαν ως επαγγελματίες ότι θα βρίσκονται πάντα στην πρώτη γραμμή, όσον αφορά την αντιμετώπιση των δυσμενών συνεπειών της οικονομικής κρίσης  και σε ότι υπερασπίζει καθημερινά την ανθρώπινη ευημερία και τα δικαιώματα των ανθρώπων στην Υγεία, τη Στέγη, Εργασία, την Ασφάλεια και την Δικαιοσύνη
