O καιρός αν και ξεκίνησε απειλητικά για βροχή δεν πτόησε τους χιλιάδες επισκέπτες στον Νομό Καρδίτσας να γιορτάσουν παραδοσιακά την έναρξη της Σαρακοστής και τις πρώτες μέρες της Άνοιξης.
Σε κάθε γωνιά στην επικράτεια και σε κάθε χωριό γιορτάστηκαν τα κούλουμα με νηστίσιμα και οι παραδοσιακές συνταγές με την κλασική φασολάδα σε τεράστια καζάνια, τουρσί,ελιες και ταραμά και φυσικά την λαγάνα.

Στο πάρκο Αστέριον στον Παλαμά ο Δήμαρχος Παλαμά Γιώργος Σακελλαρίου καλωσόρισε τους επισκέπτες και τους ευχήθηκε
για την Σαρακοστή ενώ οι πολιτιστικοί σύλλογοι με χορευτικά, δωρεάν κρασί και νηστίσιμα τίμησαν την έναρξη της άνοιξης, ενώ παραδοσιακά το Γαϊτανάκι άρχισε της εκδήλωσες
.
ΑΓΙΑ ΤΡΙΑΔΑ ΚΑΡΔΙΤΣΑΣ

Καλό Γλέντι με τα παραδοσιακά εδέσματα έστησαν και στην κεντρική πλατεία της Αγίας Τριάδας με τα μελη του πολιτιστικού συλλόγου, χορευτικά, και νηστίσιμα κράτησαν τους επισκέπτες μέχρι το απόγευμα σε παραδοσιακό γλέντι
