Την πρώτη λειτουργία του 2018 τέλεσε σήμερα η Μητρόπολη Θεσσαλιώτιδος και Φαναριοφερσάλων χοροστατούντος του Μητροπολίτη κ.κ. Τιμοθέου στον Ιερό Ναό των Αγίων Κωνσταντίνου και Ελένης με την παρουσία αρχών και πιστων.


Ο Μητροπολίτης μετά την  Θεία λειτουργία του Μέγα Βασιλείου μετέφερε το μήνυμα της αισιοδοξίας για το νέο έτος
Στην λειτουργία παρέστησαν οι βουλευτής ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Χρυσούλα Κατσαβριά, ο αντιπεριφερειάρχης Βασίλης Τσιάκος Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας Φώτης Αλεξάκος ,περιφερειακοί σύμβουλοι αντιδήμαρχοι και δημοτικοί σύμβουλοι ,ο πρόεδρος του ΕΒΕ Γιώργος Ντενίσης, στρατιωτικές αρχές και αρχές των σωμάτων ασφαλείας
