Ο γενικός γραμματέας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών Αντόνιο Γκουτέρες προειδοποίησε σήμερα για τον κίνδυνο μιας "ολοκληρωτικής στρατιωτικής κλιμάκωσης" στη Συρία, καλώντας τα μέλη του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας να "ενεργήσουν με υπευθυνότητα κάτω από επικίνδυνες συνθήκες".

"Οι κλιμακούμενες εντάσεις και η ανικανότητα να βρεθεί μια συμβιβαστική λύση για τη συγκρότηση ενός ερευνητικού μηχανισμού απειλούν να οδηγήσουν σε μια ολοκληρωτική στρατιωτική κλιμάκωση" είπε ο Γκουτέρες μιλώντας στο ΣΑ του ΟΗΕ που συνεδριάζει εκτάκτως κατόπιν αιτήματος της Ρωσίας.
