Ομόφωνα στη σημερινή του συνεδρίαση, που είναι σ΄ εξέλιξη, το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Κεντρικής Ένωσης Δήμων Ελλάδας (ΚΕΔΕ) ζητεί την παράταση ως τον Οκτώβριο του τρέχοντος έτους, του προγράμματος της Κοινωφελούς Εργασίας στους δήμους. Τόσο λόγω των εκλογών που μεσολαβούν αλλά και διότι πολλοί δήμοι θα έχουν αυξημένες ανάγκες λόγω της τουριστικής περιόδου.
