Ενόψει της μεγάλης γιορτής του Πάσχα και στα πλαίσια της κοινωνικής αλληλεγγύης που πρέπει οι μαθητές να μαθαίνουν στο σχολείο, 12 μαθήτριες της Α΄ τάξης  μαζί με τους εκπαιδευτικούς επισκέφθηκαν το Γηροκομείο της Καρδίτσας, τραγούδησαν τον Λάζαρο, κέρασαν γλυκά και προσέφεραν χρηματικό ποσό, το οποίο συγκέντρωσαν όλοι οι μαθητές και οι εκπαιδευτικοί του σχολείου. Οι μαθητές και οι γέροντες, συγκινημένοι από τη συνάντηση, αντάλλαξαν ευχές για καλό Πάσχα, ενώ τα παιδιά εξέφρασαν την επιθυμία να συνεχίσουν και με άλλες ανάλογες ενέργειες το κοινωνικό έργο του σχολείου μέσω της προσφοράς και της αλληλεπίδρασης με την τοπική κοινωνία, που αποτελεί εξάλλου έναν από τους βασικούς σκοπούς του.
