Χαλάζι σε μέγεθος ρεβιθιού έπληξε το μεσημέρι ορεινές και ημιορεινές κυρίως περιοχές στην Δυτική Καρδίτσα .Το χαλάζι ηταν πυκνής έντασης ,και ολιγόλεπτης διάρκειας στις περιοχές της Λίμνης Πλαστήρα Μεσενικόλα και Μορφοβουνίου εως τον Ελλην’οπυργο.
Ζημιές μέχρι στιγμής δεν αναφέρθηκαν σε αυτές τις περιοχές όπου υπάρχουν καλλιέργειες αμπελιού ,δεντροφυτειών και κηπευτικών.
