Με τη διοίκηση της Αναγέννησης συναντήθηκε ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας κ. Βασίλης Τσιάκος. Ο κ. Τσιάκος συζήτησε με τους εκπροσώπους της ομάδας για τα ζητήματα που τους απασχολούν. Ο Δήμαρχος δήλωσε αρωγός και συμπαραστάτης στην πορεία της ομάδας ώστε σταδιακά να αποκτήσει και πάλι τη θέση που της αξίζει στο αθλητικό στερέωμα. Επίσης υπογράμμισε ότι η Αναγέννηση είναι ταυτισμένη με την ιστορία του τοπικού ποδοσφαίρου . Προς το παρόν πάντως ευχήθηκε καλή αγωνιστική πορεία. Από την πλευρά τους οι εκπρόσωποι της διοίκησης της Αναγέννησης ευχαρίστησαν το δήμαρχο για τη στήριξη τους και εξήγησαν ότι καταβάλουν κάθε προσπάθεια για γρήγορη επάνοδο της ομάδας στις επαγγελματικές κατηγορίες. Να σημειωθεί ότι στη συνάντηση παρέστη και ο πρόεδρος του ΔΟΠΑΚ  κ. Ι. Ρόβας.
