«Η εισβολή της Τουρκίας στη Βόρεια Συρία είναι παράνομη. Θα οδηγήσει σε περαιτέρω αποσταθεροποίηση την περιοχή καθώς και σε ενίσχυση των προσφυγικών ροών στο Αιγαίο» σημειώνει ο πρόεδρος του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, Αλέξης Τσίπρας, σε ανάρτησή του στο Twitter.

Επισημαίνει δε, ότι «η αδυναμία της Διεθνούς Κοινότητας να επιβάλει το Διεθνές Δίκαιο, προφανής» ενώ χαρακτηρίζει ως τραγική την «ασυνάρτητη» στάση του Προέδρου Τραμπ και την «αφωνία της Ελλάδας εκκωφαντική».
