Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης επισκέπτεται την Καρδίτσα, τέσσερις μέρες μετά το καταστροφικό πέρασμα του «Ιανού», που προκάλεσε τεράστιες ζημιές στην πόλη, τα γύρω χωριά, τις υποδομές και το ζωικό και φυτικό κεφάλαιο της περιοχής.

 

Στο δημαρχείο της Καρδίτσας πραγματοποιήθηκε σύσκεψη με τη συμμετοχή του Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη και φορείς της περιοχής, με τους κατοίκους να επιχειρούν να εισέλθουν ώστε αν διαμαρτυρηθούν για τις πολυήμερες καθυστερήσεις του κρατικού μηχανισμού στην αντιμετώπιση των ζημιών.

Ωστόσο βρήκαν μπροστά τους ισχυρές αστυνομικές δυνάμεις, ανάμεσά τους άνδρες της ΟΠΚΕ, με αποτέλεσμα να δημιουργηθεί ένταση.
