Λίγες μέρες απόμειναν μέχρι την πολυαναμενόμενη έναρξη των εκδηλώσεων για το 5ο αντάμωμα των απανταχού Καλυβακιωτών, που θα διεξαχθεί το τριήμερο 23 μέχρι 25 Αυγούστου 2018, στα Καλυβάκια.
Αναλυτικά το πρόγραμμα των εκδηλώσεων:
■  23 Αυγούστου 2018, ημέρα Πέμπτη και ώρα 18.30: 
2ος ποδηλατικός γύρος Καλυβακίων-Παλαμά.
■  24Αυγούστου 2018, ημέρα Παρασκευή και ώρα 20.30: θεατρική παράσταση από τη θεατρική σκηνή Καρδίτσας και το έργο του Αντώνη Νικολάου "Ένας γαμπρός και για...τη μαμά"
■   25 Αυγούστου 2018,ημέρα Σάββατο και ώρα 21.00: Κύρια εκδήλωση του ανταμώματος με παραδοσιακή ορχήστρα, παραδοσιακούς χορούς, φαγητό, γλέντι και ποτό.
