Την Παρασκευή 29 Μαρτίου 2019, πραγματοποιήθηκε διδακτική επίσκεψη του 1ου  Εσπερινού ΕΠΑ.Λ. στον υδροηλεκτρικό σταθμό Ν. Πλαστήρα και Μεσοχώρας. Οι μαθητές συνοδευόμενοι από εκπαιδευτικούς του σχολείου μας, ξεναγηθήκαν στους χώρους του σταθμού από τον υπάλληλο βάρδιας κοντρόλ Μερτζιάνη Βασίλειο, έχοντας τη δυνατότητα να δουν τους στροβίλους και τους εναλλακτήρες 500 στροφών της μονάδας που ήταν σε λειτουργία. Επίσης παρουσιαστήκαν οι μονάδες έλεγχου και οι μετασχηματιστές 15ΚV/150ΚV.
Η εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα του 1ου Εσπερινού ΕΠΑ.Λ. ευχαριστεί τη διοίκηση του ΥΗΣ και τους εργαζόμενους για τη φιλοξενία, την ξενάγηση και τη δυνατότητα που έδωσαν στους μαθητές να αποκτήσουν μοναδικές εικόνες από την παραγωγή και το μετασχηματισμό της ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας.
