Μια εικόνα που ανήκει σε άλλες γεωγραφικές περιοχές του ισημερινού αντίκρισαν χθες στην λίμνη Πλαστήρα μόνιμοι κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες.
Ένα σμήνος Φλαμινκος έκανε στάση στην λίμνη και είναι σίγουρα ένα σπάνιο φαινόμενο για την μεσογειακή περιοχή της Ελλάδος, μιας και το ταξίδι  αυτών των πουλιών καταγράφετε κυρίως στην Ιβηρική πλευρά της μεσογείου Ισπανία κλπ.
