Συζήτηση με το Δήμαρχο Σοφάδων Μπάμπη Παπαδόπουλο είχε ο Πρόεδρος του Συλλόγου Σοφαδιτών Αθήνας κ. Τριανταλής Δημήτρης στο γραφείο του πρώτου.
Συζητήθηκαν θέματα κοινού ενδιαφέροντος που αφορούν τους απόδημους Σοφαδίτες αλλά και την πόλη των Σοφάδων. Αναζητήθηκαν ταυτόχρονα τρόποι συνεργασίας και κοινής ανάληψης δραστηριοτήτων που θα λειτουργήσουν προς όφελος της Σοφαδίτικης κοινωνίας.
Στα πλαίσια αυτής της συζήτησης ο κ. Τριανταλής πρότεινε στο Δήμαρχο Σοφάδων τη συνδιοργάνωση μιας ενημερωτικής εκδήλωσης στους Σοφάδες ιατρικού περιεχομένου με συντελεστές Σοφαδίτες γιατρούς. Ανάλογη εκδήλωση πραγματοποίησε ο Σύλλογος στην Αθήνα, η οποία γνώρισε πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία.
Ο Δήμαρχος Σοφάδων ευχαρίστησε τον Πρόεδρο του Συλλόγου Σοφαδιτών Αθήνας για την επίσκεψη και τις προτάσεις του υποσχόμενος πως θα συνεχίσει να παραμένει αρωγός και συμμέτοχος στις προσπάθειες του Συλλόγου.
