«Καθάρισε» ο Νοικοκυράκης και την κράτησε στην 2η θέση Τη λύση έδωσε ο Νοικοκυράκης που με ωραίο σουτ εκτός περιοχής έκανε το 1-0 στο 42′ μέσα σε έξαλλους πανηγυρισμούς από 2.500 και πλέον Καρδιτσιώτες. Λίγα λεπτά μετά στις καθυστερήσεις του πρώτου μέρους, ο ίδιος παίκτης είχε δοκάρι και έχασε την ευκαιρία για ένα δεύτερο γκολ.
