Κατά τη διάρκεια μια λιτής εκδήλωσης που πραγματοποιήθηκε σε ιδιαίτερα ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα στο Δημαρχείο, ο Δήμος Καρδίτσας έκοψε τη πρωτοχρονιάτικη πίτα του  παρουσία της Δημοτικής Αρχής, Δημοτικών Συμβούλων και των εργαζομένων .
            Ο Δήμαρχος Καρδίτσας κ. Φώτης Αλεξάκος κόβοντας την πίτα ευχήθηκε σε όλους καλή χρονιά και προσωπική ευτυχία για τον καθένα, ενώ ευχαρίστησε όλους τους υπαλλήλους για την προσπάθεια που καταβάλουν καθημερινά για την εξυπηρέτηση των συνδημοτών και την απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία των υπηρεσιών του Δήμου
