Σημαντικές μειώσεις στις φορολογικές επιβαρύνσεις για τα οικόπεδα που βρίσκονται σε χιλιάδες κωμοπόλεις, χωριά και οικισμούς της χώρας προβλέπουν οι νέες τροποποιήσεις στις διατάξεις για τον Ενιαίο Φόρο Ιδιοκτησίας Ακινήτων (ΕΝΦΙΑ) που πρόκειται να φέρει για ψήφιση στη Βουλή η κυβέρνηση, στο «παρά πέντε» της έκδοσης των εκκαθαριστικών για την πληρωμή του νέου αυτού φόρου.

Οικόπεδα για τα οποία τα στοιχεία που έχουν στη διάθεσή τους οι υπηρεσίες του υπουργείου Οικονομικών δεν επαρκούν για τον ορθό υπολογισμό της φορολογητέας αξίας και το σωστό υπολογισμό του αναλογούντος ΕΝΦΙΑ θα αντιμετωπίζονται από το υπουργείο με τον πιο ευνοϊκό τρόπο, καθώς θα λαμβάνονται υπόψη οι χαμηλότεροι δυνατοί συντελεστές προσδιορισμού της αντικειμενικής τους αξίας.

Στην κατηγορία αυτή υπάγονται πάρα πολλές περιπτώσεις οικοπέδων κυρίως σε περιοχές εντός κωμοπόλεων, μικρών πόλεων, χωριών, και οικισμών, όπου ο ακριβής προσδιορισμός της γεωγραφικής θέσης στους χάρτες που διαθέτει το υπουργείο Οικονομικών είναι αδύνατος.
