Στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος της Ευέλικτης Ζώνης με τίτλο «Προστασία του Περιβάλλοντος», οι μαθητές των ΣΤ2 και ΣΤ3  τμημάτων των 1ου & 12ου Δημοτικών Σχολείων αντίστοιχα, συνοδευόμενοι από τους δασκάλους τους κ. Θωμά Μπάδρα και Πέτρο Δεληβέρη, επισκέφτηκαν το πάρκο του Παυσιλύπου. Οι Δασολόγοι κ. Θανάσης Γκούρλας και Κατερίνα Ψαχούλα ενημέρωσαν τους μαθητές για τις ωφέλειες των δασών και τη λήψη μέτρων για την προστασία τους. Περιηγήθηκαν στο πάρκο όπου με την καθοδήγηση των Δασολόγων ήρθαν βιωματικά σε επαφή με  στοιχεία της χλωρίδας του τόπου μας.
