Τα ατυχήματα  που απειλούν τα παιδιά είναι  πολλά: τροχαία, πτώσεις, δηλητηριάσεις, εγκαύματα, πνιγμός κ.λ.π και μπορούν  να συμβούν σε οποιαδήποτε στιγμή παντού, όπως στο σπίτι ,στο σχολείο, στο δρόμο ,στην  παιδική χαρά, στις διακοπές. Είναι αποδεδειγμένο όμως ότι η σωστή και συστηματική πρόληψη και  ενημέρωση μπορεί να μειώσει τον αριθμό και τη σοβαρότητα των παιδικών ατυχημάτων.

Οι μαθητές και οι εκπαιδευτικοί του Δημοτικού Σχολείου Μητρόπολης είχαν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν  μια εξαιρετικά  ενδιαφέρουσα εκδήλωση την Παρασκευή 13/5/2016 στο χώρο του  σχολείου με κεντρικό ομιλητή τον ορθοπαιδικό-χειρουργό κ.Γεωργούση Μιλτιάδη. Η ενημέρωση ήταν  πλήρης και πολύπλευρη για τα παιδικά ατυχήματα τους τρόπους πρόληψης και αντιμετώπισής τους.

Ακολούθησε συζήτηση κατά την οποία οι μαθητές έδειξαν ζωηρό ενδιαφέρον.

 Τον ευχαριστούμε θερμά  για την ενημέρωση και  τις πολύτιμες συμβουλές του που αφορούν στην αυτοπροστασία μας, στην ίδια τη ζωή μας αλλά και σ’αυτή των συνανθρώπων μας
