Την Κυριακή 5/3/2017 οι Καρδιτσιώτες μελισσοκόμοι έκοψαν την πίτα τους για την καινούρια χρονιά. Η όμορφη εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε στον χώρο του Παυσιλίπου στις 6.00 μμ.

Το παρόν έδωσαν ο δήμαρχος της πόλης κ. Φώτης Aλεξάκος, ο πρόεδρος της ΟΜΣΕ(ομοσπονδίας μελισσοκομικών συλλόγων Ελλάδος) κ. Βασίλης Ντούρας , ο διευθυντής της ΑΝ.ΚΑ (αναπτυξιακή Καρδίτσας) κ. Βασίλης Μπέλλης και εκ μέρους της Μητρόπολης ο πατέρας Παναγιώτης Γιαννουσάς. Ο τυχερός που κέρδισε το φλουρί Βασίλης Νταντάμης πήρε μία κυψέλη οριζόντιας ανάπτυξης 25 πλαισίων προσφορά του καταστήματος kipselesshop ,χορηγού της εκδήλωσης.Σύντομο χαιρετισμό απήυθηνε πρώτος ο δήμαρχος της πόλης, στην συνέχεια πήρε τον λόγο ο πρόεδρος της ΟΜΣΕ κ. Βασίλης Ντούρας μίλησε για την ενότητα και την ανάγκη για συμπόρευση των μελισσοκόμων για να αντιμετωπίσουν τα μεγάλα προβλήματα του χώρου και τέλος ο διευθυντής της ΑΝ.​​​
