Η τοπική μας Εκκλησία εόρτασε την ιερά μνήμη του αγίου και ενδόξου οσιομάρτυρος Δαμιανού του εκ Μυριχόβου.

Ως εκ τούτου, κατόπιν σεπτής ευλογίας του Σεβασμιωτάτου Μητροπολίτου μας κ. Τιμοθέου, ο Πανοσιολογιώτατος Αρχιμανδρίτης π. Αμφιλόχιος Παπανδρέου, Πρωτοσύγκελλος της Ιεράς μας Μητροπόλεως, την Τετάρτη 13 Φεβρουαρίου 2019, προέστη της λιτανείας της ιεράς εικόνος του αγίου και ενδόξου οσιομάρτυρος Δαμιανού, η οποία έλαβε χώρα από τον ενοριακό Ιερό Ναό Αγίας Τριάδος προς το Ιερό Παρεκκλήσιο του Οσιομάρτυρος Δαμιανού της Τ.Κ. Αγίας Τριάδος Καρδίτσης.

Ακολούθως, προέστη της ακολουθία του Εσπερινού και ομίλησε στο ως άνω Ιερό Παρεκκλήσιο.

Ο Άγιος και ένδοξος οσιομάρτυρας Δαμιανός γόνος της αγιοτόκου Επαρχίας μας, συγκαταλέγεται στη χορεία των τοπικών μας Αγίων. Παράλληλα, είναι και κτήτωρ της ιστορικής και παλαιφάτου Ιεράς Μονής Παναγίας Πελεκητής στην Καρύτσα Δολόπων.
