Το νικηφόρο σερί τριών αγώνων τερματίστηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη για τον Α.Σ. Καρδίτσας ΙΑΠΩΝΙΚΗ, ο οποίος για την 21η και προτελευταία αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL υπέστη ήττα από τον ΠΑΟΚ mateco με 71-61.

Χωρίς τον Λεωνίδα Κασελάκη στη σύνθεσή της, η ομάδα της Καρδίτσας πάλεψε σε μία δύσκολη έδρα, όμως δεν κατάφερε στην 4η περίοδο να προσπεράσει, εκεί που οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν μία διαφορά, όπως αποδείχτηκε ψυχολογίας (κυρίως με τα εύστοχα μακρινά σουτ) και έφτασαν στο ροζ φύλλο.

Ο Α.Σ.Κ. έχει πλέον ρεκόρ 11-11 αλλά παραμένει μόνος στην 4η θέση της βαθμολογίας, μία «στροφή» πριν το φινάλε της κανονικής διάρκειας του πρωταθλήματος.
