Για πρώτη φορά από την ένταξη της χώρας μας στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωσηκαταβλήθηκε από το υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων στις 31.12.2014 η πρώτη δόση του 40% της εξισωτικής αποζημίωσης του τρέχοντος έτους (2014) σε όλους τους δικαιούχους γεωργούς και κτηνοτρόφους των ορεινών και μειονεκτικών περιοχών, που είχαν υποβάλει εμπρόθεσμα τα απαιτούμενα δικαιολογητικά.

Το υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων, όπως ανακοίνωσε ο υπουργός Γιώργος Καρασμάνης, έχει ήδη εξασφαλίσει το σύνολο των αναγκαίων πιστώσεων, ύψους 126.000.000 ευρώ, που καλύπτει πλήρως και στο ακέραιο τις πληρωμές όλων των δικαιούχων αγροτών, η εξόφληση των οποίων με τα ποσά που δικαιούνται και τους αναλογούν θα γίνει στην επόμενη πληρωμή.
