Μετά από συνεργασία του Διοικητή του Νοσοκομείου Βάϊου Βαρελά της Βουλευτή ΣΥΡΙΖΑ  Χρυσούλα Κατσαβριά και σε ένα ανοιχτό δίαυλο επικοινωνίας με τον υπουργό Υγείας Παύλου Πολάκη σε τροχιά επίλυσης στο επόμενο διάστημα μπαίνει και το θέμα του αξονικού τομογράφου στην Καρδίτσα.
Σύμφωνα με ασφαλείς πληροφορίες  έως το τέλος του χρόνου ο αξονικός τομογράφος θα είναι σε λειτουργία στο Νοσοκομείο Καρδίτσας αφού διαφάνηκε η βούληση στην επικοινωνία που είχαν με τον υπουργό να ξεπεραστούν και η τελευταίες αγκυλώσεις που ταλαιπωρεί επι χρόνια την εγκατάσταση και λειτουργία του αξονικού τομογράφου στο Νοσοκομείο
