Ως 25η κατά σειρά πόλη - στάση ο Δήμος Σοφάδων υποδέχεται τους ποδηλάτες της δράσης  «κόκκινη κλωστή με τη ζωή δεμένη», με πρωταγωνιστές μαθητές λυκείου, εκπαιδευτικούς, αθλητικούς συλλόγους, ποδηλάτες, σύλλογος αιμοδοτών, φορείς κι ενεργούς πολίτες στο πάρκο του Αγίου Γεωργίου το Σάββατο 15 Σεπτεμβρίου στις 12:30  π.μ.

Στην Ελλάδα ανήκει φέτος το προνόμιο να μεταφέρει το μήνυμα της εθελοντικής αιμοδοσίας  σύμφωνα με την παγκόσμια οργάνωση υγείας. 

Το ΕΚΕΑ επέλεξε για το σκοπό αυτό τη δράση κόκκινη κλωστή με τη ζωή δεμένη να ταξιδέψει το μήνυμα με ποδήλατο σε όλη την Ελλάδα προσκαλώντας τους νέους να αιμοδοτήσουν εθελοντικά.
