Με απόφαση του υπουργείου Εσωτερικών δίνεται ποσό συνολικού ύψους 25 εκ. ευρώ στις Περιφέρειες για την κάλυψη εξόδων μεταφοράς μαθητών, έναντι της συνολικής τους δαπάνης για το σχολικό έτος 2012-2013.
Αυτές οι ενισχύσεις θα αποδοθούν στις δικαιούχους Περιφέρειες, με χρηματική εντολή του Υπουργείου Εσωτερικών προς το Ταμείο Παρακαταθηκών και Δανείων.
1.558.000 € θα λάβει η Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας από όπου τα 643.000 € αφορούν τη Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Καρδίτσας
