Εκτυπώσιμη μορφήΣτους 381 ανήλθε ο αριθμός των νεκρών από τον ισχυρό σεισμό που έπληξε την επαρχία Γιουνάν της νοτιοδυτικής Κίνας, ανακοίνωσε το υπουργείο Πολιτικών Υποθέσεων της χώρας αυτής, προσθέτοντας ότι ο αριθμός των τραυματιών έχει φτάσει τους 1.800.
Ο σεισμός ήταν μεγέθους 6,5 βαθμών και εντοπίστηκε στην πόλη Λονγκτούσαν της περιφέρειας Λουντιάν.
Τουλάχιστον 12.000 σπίτια κατέρρευσαν και 30.000 ακόμη υπέστησαν σοβαρές ζημιές, ενώ διακόπηκαν η ηλεκτροδότηση και οι τηλεπικοινωνίες.
Ο πρωθυπουργός της Κίνας, Λι Κετσιάνγκ, πρόκειται να μεταβεί το πρωί στη Λουντιάν, προκειμένου να επιβλέψει το έργο αρωγής.
